A warm hello to our TSA families & the Weston/Pembroke Pines community!
We have been continuing to follow the spread of COVID-19 here in Broward County, and have decided to post-pone further instruction and aquatic programming at this time.
We will be closed starting today (March 16th – 30th). This decision is in line with the Broward County School District, and the school campus where we reside. As you can imagine, these are unprecedented decisions we are trying to make in uncharted waters. While this was not an easy decision, we feel it is best for our community, staff, and families at this time.
You are important to us, and we thank you for your support, patience, and understanding as we navigate this unique situation together. In an effort to provide some relief to our families, we will be freezing your accounts and crediting all tuition fees thus paid to the following month when
we reopen. Also, we have extended make-up deadlines and will provide flexible scheduling once we reopen.
We are encouraging all families, staff and partners, to stay calm, informed and proactive during this virus threat. Please make sure you are following the recommended guidelines from the Florida Department of Health and the CDC.
Many of you may have heard that children and young adults are not at risk of becoming seriously ill from this virus, which is true. However, experts have found that even though your child may show no symptoms they can spread it to more vulnerable and elderly adults. For this reason alone, we are encouraging everyone to use recommended best practices with and around this “at-risk group”.
We are encouraging everyone to follow CDC guidelines and asking that we be kind, patient and supportive of one another. We hope that we can stop the virus from spreading further and get back to having fun in the sun!

Hey TSA Families,
If you or your family have visited China, Iran, South Korea or Italy in the last 2 weeks, we ask that you not bring your child to their swim lesson. Leave a message in the Parent Portal and give us a call at the 14 day mark if your child is not showing symptoms.
If you have not been in known contact with a person who has visited those countries, you should feel confident bringing your child to their swim lesson. In fact, the Center for Disease Control states, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”
If, however, you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms associated with Coronavirus, you should visit your doctor and keep your child at home until the symptoms have cleared.
